A lifelong singer passionate about music, FELICIA RICCI is fresh from playing Eliza Doolittle in My Fair Lady at the Shubert Theater in New Haven, CT, opposite Emmy winner David Alan Grier and Tony nominee Reg Rogers. Prior to that, she was seen in the lead role of Elphaba in Wicked's San Francisco company -- a role that required some serious belting (not to mention green makeup). She has taught all over the country, mentoring young artists and singers at Northwestern University and her alma mater, Yale University. As a student, she's worked with Tony Award winner Victoria Clark (The Light in the PiazzaCinderellaSister Act), Broadway director Lonny Price, and Broadway music directors Joel Fram and David Loud. She is a member of the Actor's Equity Association and the National Alliance of Teachers of Singing, and is author of the memoir Unnaturally Green, an international Amazon bestseller. She spends much of her free time belting her face off.

  4. Hey Fel!
I just wanted to say: thank you so much for making videos!
I've been taking singing lessons for about 6 years now and my singing teacher won't allow me to belt, 'cause she thinks it's unhealthy. Also, I've been having problems with my break lately. But you are such a blessing! I am so happy to have found your blog and I am simply so, so ,so grateful, that you are taking the time to teach us so much - it's really helping! Thank you! :)

  6. I have recorded myself singing many times, and while I don't think I sound that bad, how can I tell if I am singing on pitch because I'm too nervous to sing in front of anyone.
